Our perfect little girl Ella Catherine arrived Sunday, December 2, 2007 at 9:30 p.m. weighing in at 5 pounds 14 ounces and measuring 18.5 inches long. I was able to have her naturally after more than 24 hours of labor. Robert was so great the entire time and never left my side. This was truly the most amazing experience of our lives and it still feels somewhat surreal. I do not even know how to put it into words. Ella is the most precious gift we could ever have hoped for. We love her more than words can express and most of our days and nights are spent just staring at her and marveling at her every move. She is such a sweet little girl and we are enjoying every minute with her. Ella had her first pediatrician appointment today and she is already growing and doing very well. We hope you will all be able to meet her soon. Thanks to everyone for all of your visits, cards, emails and calls. We're sorry we haven't been able to get back to each of you individually yet but we at least wanted to send out the pictures and an update.

Ella is so beautiful! I am SO happy for you all, can't wait to meet her. Thanks for sharing all the photos, I see physiologic flexion and tummy time and that she found her fingers to mouth already, :) I am hoping to get out to Cali and Wash sometime end of Feb or maybe April. B

What a wonderful way to wake up this morning, open my email to see a picture of your precious new Baby Ella! Congratulations, as she truly is a blessing from the Heavens above!! The feeling of this being so surreal will not diminsh anytime soon as you continue to marvel at the miracle that is Ella. This was my first time on your blog, what a wonderful idea to document your progression and it was fun for to see. Melissa, you were a beautiful pregnant woman, it suited you well.
It was great to see you and Robert at Marcus' party earlier in the year and one of thoughts I had as I watched from afar is you two seem to fit together so well. Thank you for including us in this great announcement and I can't wait to meet her in person. You are going to be awesome parents; you are already off to a great start as she is PERFECT! Another Mogannam in this world....well it just became a better place! Have a wonderful Christmas season, who could ask for a better gift from God?! Oh Melissa and Robert! She is beautiful! What a wonderful Christmas gift this year. I am so happy for both of you. Melissa, you look like you were glowing throughout your pregnancy, giving birth, and now as a new beautiful mother.
I can't wait to meet her and thank you for including us in your birth announcement. I've been thinking of you and keeping in touch through other people.

Congratulations! Your daughter Ella is beautiful and I agree with Antionette, she looks just like you Robert. Melissa, you looked beautiful throughout your pregancy and you truly glowed! You two are going to be great parents; just follow your hearts! You have so many precious surprises ahead of you. Take it all in and appreciate every moment--it all goes by so fast. The best advise I could give you is to be patient and really listen to Ella. Even now, she is speaking to you. I hope we can get together soon.
